Valdessecchi Danny ( Chris Pine ) is an intelligent, beautiful, and charming, but unfortunately blind. Having been born blind, he volunteers for a risky experimental procedure that may restore his sight, he will install a chip in the visual cortex of his brain that connects to a camera that would give him only, at best, images in black and white! During practice, he meets a beautiful Indian nurse, Leeza ( Anjali Jay ). When Danny finally realizes that he is coming out with her, Leeza says she can not see because she is already promised to someone, an arranged marriage. Danny believes that Leeza do not want to continue their relationship because of him because he is blind, so he becomes depressed and continues to do the tests necessary for her brain surgery.

Danny's family, his eccentric psychotherapist Dr. Evans ( Jane Seymour ) and her ophthalmologist Dr. Perkins ( Stephen Tobolowsky ), advises him to continue because it is his only chance to see. Danny agrees after some hesitation. He sees his family for the first time, but not always Leeza, who is absent because of her preparations for her wedding. Experience soon proved to be a failure, because of the fragile prosthesis which is positioned in his brain, and Danny becomes blind. Realizing that he really likes Leeza, he goes to her marriage and come like a madman at the ceremony, professing his love for her, he said: "Love is how you speak. Love is the way you touch me ... And when we kiss, your kiss touch my soul. " The couple kiss. Leeza and Danny were married and lived happily ever after in their lives.
